I'm feeling like the world could use more music right now. I'm using it to manage to huge emotions that are popping up in shared spaces, to manage grief, and to share my joy! Putting a few favorites and some new (to me) finds below. Enjoy!
Olusola is an American singer-songwriter, beatboxer, and cellist. Olusola is best known as the beatboxer of the a cappella group Pentatonix. He is the creator of celloboxing, playing cello and beatboxing simultaneously. Here’s an original song that I really like, and if you click on following videos, his covers of popular songs are amazing.

Israel Fernández is a Spanish Romani flamenco singer who grew up in a musical family, participated in TV competitions as a child, and recorded his first album at the age of 18.

india.arie is an American singer and songwriter whose music has been a soundtrack for my life. Her songs focus on love and healing, and she intentionally bucks music industry trends to stay true to herself.
“Ma” as in Mamma; “Muse” as in the one who inspires. Sarah Nutting and Karisha Longaker make up this duo who creates a “harmonic, uplifting, folk-soul-revival, a musical tune-up for the heart.”

The Garifuna Collective are a seasoned intergenerational collective of musicians who play and travel the world together, sharing their music and stories with global audiences. Their album Watina with Andy Palacio was voted by Amazon as the Number One World Music Album of All Time. The Garifuna people are a people of mixed free African and indigenous American ancestry that originated in the Caribbean island of Saint Vincent.
